I’m seeking prospective PhD students passionate about exploring topics at the intersection of human mobility, socio-environmental sustainability, and social justice through cutting-edge data science research, particularly in urban contexts. Possible projects include:

2️⃣ Examining the relationship between urban mobility and environmental sustainability
3️⃣ A combination of the above!
Based in the Geographic Data Science Lab within the University of Liverpool’s Department of Geography and Planning, you’ll join a vibrant research community, gaining expertise in Python/R programming, large-scale digital trace data, network analysis, machine learning, and statistical modelling.
I’m willing to support high-quality applications for PhD or MSc+PhD scholarships through the Economic and Social Research Council North West Social Science Doctoral Training Partnership (NWSSDTP), and mentor you throughout the journey. If you are interested, please get in touch!
